The organization's primary exempt function is to promote in new jersey the development of new technologies for environmental protection and remediation and energy conservation. The organization functions as a public private partnership to provide a forum for the showcasing of new technologies, to assist the new jersey department of environmental protection ('njdep') in carrying out multi-state and international programs of regulatory cooperation and to conduct a certification program to verify the capabilities of new technologies.
