Public housing authorities, private affordable housing management companies, private market rate landlords, tenants and condominium owners are provided with smoke-free housing toolkits and customized presentations to encourage smoke-free housing, especially to protect children, senior citizens, and persons with chronic diseases. Provide guidance to residents who suffer from second-hand smoke exposure.

Track emerging trends and issues on tobacco and provide technical assistance and educational presentations to promote 100% smoke-free environments at casinos, college campuses, outdoor recreation areas, multi-unit housing, and cars when children are present; to educate on the health risks with third-hand smoke, hookah smoking and electronic cigarettes; and to reduce smoking and smokeless tobacco use by teens, college students, and the general population.
