New Jersey State Firemens Association

To provide membership to qualified members of the indian mills volunteer fire company #1, serving shamong township, and to provide benefit in the firm of relief and death benefits to aged or needy active and/or otherwise qualified fire persons and their families, and those injured, incapacitated or killed in the performance of their duty. The association, as a division of the new jersey state fireman's relief association, will protect against the encroachment upon the source of said funds, the advancement of the status and best interest of all fire persons, the development and advancement of the best methods of fire protection, provide good stewardship of the association funds, and the cultivation of fraternal fellowship among the various departments and fire persons throughout the state and elsewhere.
