New Jersey State Firemens Association

The North Bergen Firemens Relief Association obtains funding for benefits disbursed to its members from a levy on all fire insurance premiums written by insurance companies charted outside the State of New Jersey. These funds from the levy are designated to each Local Relief Association and are paid to and recorded by the New Jersey State Firemens Association. These funds are then disbursed to each Local Relief Association with a portion of the assessment withheld in reserve by the New Jersey State Firemens Association for future use. These are the assessments withheld in reserve during the Year 2024.
