Community garden workshops provided nature-based educational experiences to over 760 students in contra costa county. 600 seedlings were planted by crockett and rodeo youth in their community garden and native pollinator- friendly plants were planted and cared for in the martinez unified community garden.

Our earth ambassadors program expanded summer camp offerings and community events. Eco-kids workshops and national park camps provided nature-based environmental experiences to 97 students, 19 of whom we granted scholarships to increase access for youth. Nlc delivered environmental science lessons to over 1850 elementary students and continued supporting responsible stewardship opportunities through green teams at martinez elementary schools and expanded programs into the local middle and high schools.
