Nlv's trauma informed wellness, resilience and character development program serves approx 170 residents, 115 being children and the rest caregivers or serving seniors. The program is designed for children formerly in foster care and/or affected by trauma. Their foster/adoptive/ kinship families now provide them with permanency. Also, elders seeking meaning and purpose in retirement serve as surrogate grandparents,tutors, and mentors to the children in the village. Nlv's community-driven integrated onsite services improve health and wellbeing by providing wrap around services including family support plan-oriented case management, service navigation and referrals, community events to help children heal, caregivers to realize resources to promote (continued on schedule o)
