To promote wild sheep conservation in the state of new mexico. The nm wsf is committed to enhancing wild sheep populations, promoting professional, scientific and ethical wildlife management and educating the general public,federal/state legislators and young citizens onsustainable use and the conservation benefits of hunting while promoting the interests of the hunter and all stakeholders in new mexico, as well as other states and provinces in the us and canada. The primary purpose of nm wsf is to assist in the propogation and scientific based conservation of wild sheep for the enjoyment of future generations of all citizens, as well as the protection and welfare of the species itself.
