Served as local outreach and education partner as part of the National Alliance for Hispanic Healths "Todos Juntos: All of US" research program. Provided multiple community presentations to over 3000 people. Executed social media campaign.
NMCHWA partnered with New Mexicos Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program to advance a Community-centered Health Equity Project in southern New Mexico. They developed and adapted operational plans engaged local communities and health workers to share findings established goals to address key screening barriers and evaluated the effectiveness of their strategies in promoting cancer screening.
Provide preventive services on health conditions that most affect the migrant people living in the United States of America. The services shall focus on: Guidance and counseling Timely detection Referrals and monitoring to health services Register the services offered by the Ventanilla de Salud through the electronic registry system of Ventanillas de Salud. Deliver a semi-annual report of the services offered described in subsection in accordance with the established format endorsed by the Border Health Commission Mexico-United States Coordinate with the Consulate the implementation of any modification of the Ventanilla de Salud
