Mission

Nmff is primarily engaged in educating and advocating for issues important to new mexicans such as healthcare reform, tax policy, economic justice, and strengthening democracy. Most of our work occurs during the new mexico state legislative session when we engage in grassroots lobbying related to the above-mentioned issues. During election years, nmff may decreasae the time spent on the above activities and allocate no more than 40% of its expenditures on electroral activities, which include: making independent expenditures to support candiates for new mexico offices and making direct donations to state and local candidates.
