To support the mission of independently-governed community colleges in new mexico. Support is provided through the advocacy of a limited agenda of issues deemed critical to its member institutions. The nmicc agenda generally focuses on funding issues and is determined by member institutions through a consensus-building process. Nmicc promotes social welfare by advocating for its members and obtaining needed funding, which allows the members to directly promote the social welfare.
