New Mexico Veterans Memorial Foundation

The education function of our foundation is represented in part through our school visitation program. These programs consist of 20 or more guided tours through our museum and memorial grounds. Also, special presentations for weapons, soldier life and special content on leadership and sacrifice. We have also teamed iwth the center for american values from pueblo, co for a week long program for 500 albuquerque middle school students. We supplement the schools bus cost for the more distant schools.

The memorial gift program places memorial bricks (47), benches (2), amphitheater tiles (0), tree plaques (3), and rose plaques (3), dedicated with inscriptions furnished by the families of those honored. The items are placed throughout the memorial park corresponding to their date and conflict.
