Mission
New mexico wildlife center's mission is to protect new mexico's wildlife through rehabilitation, conservation, education, and public engagement.
Programs

Wildlife education we presented 106 wildlife education programs to schools and other groups. These programs were conducted at the center or off-site at a variety of locations including schools, museums, libraries,and outdoor community events. Through these various programs nmwc reached an audience of proximately 4,744 children and adults. The center's education staff presented 330 animal encounter programs. These programs attracted 2,264 participants. Beyond the center's education and animal encounter programs nmwc held 4 special onsite events, attracting a total of 589 attendees. Nmwc hosted 2,917 general public visitors on-site to view and learn about new mexico's native wildlife.
