Mission
The mission of the new mexico young america football league ("yafl") is to provide a safe, affordable, high quality youth football and cheerleading experience for the children of new mexico. In doing so, the new mexico young america football league provides an educational and sportsmanship based program for children ages six to fourteen years. They strive to provide an environment where children are encouraged to become the best student athletes they can become while demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship and character. Yafl is committed to the children, families and the community served, providing support and encouragement for each participant. By providing sports and recreational opportunities, yafl encourages the development of fine motor skills, promotes a positive attitude that can lead to increased self-confidence.
