French film festival - the 27th annual french film festival presented 25 films--a combination of 15 features and 10 shorts--both in person at two different cinema locations and online through a virtual platform. The films represented french-language cinema from around the globe.

Southern producers lab- the southern producers lab supported 8 emerging producers working in the american southeast through an intensive five-day in-person lab filled with panels, mentoring sessions, and industry meetings. Participants were invited to workshop a project they're producing and take advantage of the thought partnership of the cohort and participating industry mentors. The program also included an in-person convening during the 2024 new orleans film festival.

Year round programming- the new orleans film society presented a one-off screening of a caribbean film, and also hosted a two-day lgbtq+ film festival at the broad theater, showcasing 4 feature films. The organization also co-presented a number of pre-release screenings free for members.emerging voices- the emerging voices directors lab supported 7 emerging directors of color based in louisiana through a four-day in-person lab focusing on defining their creative voice and learning filmmaking tools to better position them and their projects for success. The lab included mentoring sessions that continued after the conclusion of the lab with hand-picked industry veterans to help advance their projects. The program also included an in-person convening in miami, florida, during the 2024 third horizon film festival, and an in-person convening during the 2024 new orleans film festival. South summit- over the course of two days, the south summit convened local, regional, and national media makers, arts funders, and institutional stakeholders for a series of virtual panels and conversations intended to seed action around creating, resourcing, and amplifying storytelling through film and media that shapes the perspective of the american south for those both outside and within it.
