To promote and sustain louisiana oysters, restaurants, the louisiana coast, oyster farmers, and the french quarter, all of which have helped the city of new orleans become the oyster capital of america, by promoting awareness of the fading habitat of louisiana oysters resulting from coastal erosion and the bp oil spill.
