These programs foster a safe, inclusive environment for community building, support, and the exchange of experiences. By addressing these critical needs, nwny empowers women to thrive personally and professionally.
Nwny's storytelling initiatives empower immigrant women to share their dreams, hopes, and challenges, building confidence and enhancing communication skills. By highlighting their unique experiences and struggles, these programs foster a positive discourse about the resilience of immigrant women in new york city and beyond. Current programming includes the immigrant women storytelling group in collaboration with the moth, a memoir writing series, and the real people. Real lives. Project.
