The promotion and education and young farmer programs provide education to the public and to members around matters and issues that are of importance to the agricultural industry.

The public policy program is responsible for coordinating the advocacy, implementation, and communication of priority issues as determined at the new york state farm bureau, inc. State annual meeting. This is accomplished through regular meetings of volunteer committees and through communication with members. The public policy program also represents the agricultural community before regulatory and legislative authorities at the state and federal level.
