Committees, sections & roundtables- component units of nyla which are organized by nyla membership to address specific member issues within the industry. Continuing education, educational leadership, bulletin and directory - to provide continuing education to members and to maintain a high level of awareness among members of the association and communicate various continuing developments. Scholarships - provide financial assistance to enable an interested and deserving student to pursue a master's degree in library science at an ala-accredited library school in new york state. Advocacy - working to ensure stable and sustainable library funding.
