New York Special District Org Inc

The entity is organized as a non-profit corporation that will advocate the rights of lcoal residents through information, meetings, gatherings and networking about local government services; to particpate with other civic and community organizations and institutions in similar functions and activities; to encourage citizen participation and involvement in community programs in local and state government; to examine the integrity, structure and service responsibilities of special districts; to promote measures which will enhance efficiency in the delivery of services by government; to protect home rule and the public's right to have a voice in local government.
