To assist and promote effective law enforcement in new york state by offering rewards for anonymous information from the general public.

The organization continued its partnership with internal revenue service criminal investigation (irs-ci) to empower citizens to assist in investigations of financial and tax crimes. New york state crime stoppers has added reward programs to fight animal cruelty, neglect and abuse. The organization also offers rewards for terrorism tips and environmental crimes.

In 2024, approximately 1,000 tips were received regarding various crimes, including drug trafficking and terrorism. The organization continues to offer rewards for the apprehension of criminals who commit the heinous crimes of homicide, armed robbery, rape, etc. When requested by law enforcement.
