SJS Seminarian Formation: SJS undertakes the task of forming future diocesan priests in the tradition of the Society of St. Sulpice: . By fostering the discernment of personal vocation as a free and generous response to the call of God for presbyteral ministry in the Church and the world. . By providing an educative community of directors and seminarians gathered in an Apostolic spirit around Our Lord Jesus Christ. . By fostering the integration of all aspects of priestly formation: human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral.
SJS Dietary Service: Based on Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating (CFGHE), we provide dietary services to our students and faculties. The food provided will be primarily nutrient dense foods. Only foods with maximum and moderate nutritional value will be allowed and we encourage our students and faculties to eat healthy outside of school to maintain a balance food. Generally nutritional value foods are good or excellent sources of important nutrients (e.g., vitamins, minerals, protein, and fiber). Maximum nutritional value foods are generally low in added fat, sugar and/or salt. On a contrary moderate nutritional value foods sometimes are high in fat, sugar, salt and/or excessive calories generally as a result of processing.
