Climate adaptive urbanism for the san francisco bayshore: released october 2024this research effort is being led by professors zachary lamb and professor rob olshansky at uc berkeley. This project will aim to expand the realms of possible adaptive urbanization for the bay area and beyond. By centering property regimes that are ecologically-adaptive and supportive of collective action, the researchers hope to make alternative approaches to property central to equity-centered adaptation planning in the region. We received the first draft in may 2024 and will release the final free report in fall 2024.

Continue to market and maintain the nonpartisan free online california budget tool and california choices website, which provides free information on all the proposition information during the election year. Another free report analyzing the business case and consumer preferences for fast chargers in california was released september 2024.

Getting to implementation: the status of local climate action in california: nov 2023 - this free report was a research effort let by louise bedsworth and hanna payne at clee (center for law, energy, & the environment), in partnership with ilg (institute for local government), to comprehensively survey and assess the state local climate action in california. Over the past decade+, city and state action has driven more aggressive climate action.
