Public policy. Within this pillar, nhcje informs and educates, through the dissemination of information and the development of solutions to support good policy and prevent detrimental equity and justice related policies. To support this work, nhcje's suite of communication mechanisms includes a robust blog initiative; communication platforms, including social media; and presentations at conferences and meetings across the state. Nhcje has developed a data brief series to publish information that helps tell the story of nh, dispelling the myth of homogeneity in nh.

Institutional capacity building. Within this pillar, nhcje strengthens and supports, providing training and technical assistance to help grow the capacity of the network of justice and equity-focused organizations and efforts across the state. Work in this pillar includes the implementation of implicit bias and de-escalation training for the nh law enforcement community and supporting the state of nh in developing community-based capacity to bring suicide prevention programs to communities of color. Operating supports & intentional investments. Within this pillar, nhcje builds and bolsters, seeking to strengthen communities by distributing resources for programs and initiatives. Early work in this pillar includes serving as a fiscal agent to partners with small grants to support equity work. Further development of this pillar is a longer-term goal.
