We protect civilians in violent conflicts through unarmed strategies.

Us program in new york city and san diego-the program teams in nyc and san diego support community based organizations through training and technical assistance for de-escalation, protest safety planning and protective presence at community events, protests and marches. Np teams also serve as advisors and conveners building a safety infrastructure that is focused on nonviolence and relationship-based safety tools.
Us program in minneapolis- the program in minneapolis focuses on violence prevention through a variety of strategies. Community peacebuilders provide protective presence, convene and train partners, hold community events and workshops, and provide a youth peacebuilding program for high school youth from n minneapolis.
Us program with partners in rural minnesota and in response to training requests from partners across the us. Np staff have hosted trainings and provided technical assistance for a variety of partners including a three year project with partners in two rural minnesota communities.
