Norcal crew is dedicated to training youth in the sport of competitive rowing. The organization has teams for boys and girls from age 12-18. Most are from the local area around redwood city california. Its activities involve on-the-water training in a variety of boat types and sizes as well as significant dry land training. Most of the training is conducted in redwood city and is supervised by professional coaches. The teams compete in a number of regattas both locally and around the united states.
