Mission

The Noroton Heights Fire Department, Incorporated provides fire and other emergency response services to its district within the Town of Darien, Connecticut, as well as providing mutual aid coverage to the other fire departments in town and to surrounding communities, both upon request and upon established agreements. The department is totally staffed by volunteers, 24 hours per day. The response service includes extinguishment of fire of any sort (structural, vehicle, open land, etc.), emergency extraction of victims and structure stabilization, of vehicle accidents and other entrapments, search and rescue of lost persons, initial hazard material response and other emergency situation responses of a nature requiring immediate action due to person or property being at risk.
