North Blanco County Emergency Medical Services Inc

North blanco county ems, in collaboration with north blanco county esd 1 and blanco county esd 2 formed the blanco county community health paramedic program in april of 2022. Community paramedicine is an emerging field in healthcare where emts and paramedics operate in expanded roles by assisting with public health and primary healthcare and preventive services to underserved populations in the community. The primary goals of the program are to improve access to care and to connect underserved populations with the appropriate resources. The community health paramedic program has served a total of 177 patients through a total of 2717 patient encounters during 2023.
