The State Assessment program was established in 2010 to provide funding for Board approved program expenses which further Beef industry interests in education, youth, issues management, promotion, research, and other miscellaneous areas.

A monthly newspaper is mailed to all members detailing issues pertinent to the industry. The "Carolina Cattle Connection" addresses issues such as animal health, marketing, as well as, organization and industry news. Advertising revenue related to the "Carolina Cattle Connection" totaled $229,590 for the year ended June 30, 2025.

The Forage and Grasslands program promotes the value of forage crops as feeds for all of the animal industry and for soil and water conservation, and provides a means for education and research involving forage crops.

The Certified Beef Production program was established in 1997 to facilitate the joint efforts of various organizations on Beef Quality Assurance. Beef Quality Assurance promotes improved animal health and the reputation of the beef in the market place.
