TRAINING(STANDARDIZED CORE COMPETENCY TRAINING-SCCT): To support quality instruction and workforce readiness, NCCHWA implemented a strengthened process to standardize instructor and institutional approval for delivering the SCCT curriculum. As a result of this effort: 1. 3 new colleges were approved to offer the SCCT 2. 3 instructors were formally approved to teach the standardized curriculum This ensures consistent delivery of core competencies and equitable access to training statewide.

ADVOCACY: NCCHWA actively mobilized CHWs to engage in advocacy efforts aimed at promoting systems change and sustainability for the profession: 1. 172 CHWs engaged in the NCCHWA Advocacy Coalition 2. 130 CHWs participated in Advocacy Days 3. 180 legislative meetings were conducted with policymakers These activities uplift the CHW voice in policy discussions and advance health priorities across North Carolina.
