North Carolina Foundation For Nursing Inc

The leadership academy is a leadership development program for nurses to prepare them for positions of strategy and influence. The program emphasizes education and mentoring of nurses to represent their profession through active leadership in a variety of positions at the state and local level. 18 nurses participated in the leadership academy program in 2024.

To respond to the needs of north carolina nurses impacted by hurricane helene in 2024, the foundation teamed with the north carolina nurses association to collect donations, which were then distributed to licensed registered nurses that were impacted by the hurricane. Funds remaining at the end of 2024 will be used to provide future assistance to nurses.
