To present concerts at affordable prices, develop music education opportunities for underserved children, enhance cultural vibrancy of the region to attract business and residential development and partner with other organizations for philantropic objectives.

The North Charleston Pops presents an outdoor concert series of seven smaller ensembles, free to the public at North Charleston Riverfront Park, culminating with the full orchestra for a Fourth of July celebration.
The North Charleston Pops runs a student music program within North Charleston Title One elementary and middle schools to include music instruction, music performance opportunities, and a summer music camp.
