San Diego Gives is a countywide initiative that strengthens local nonprofits through capacity-building and a dedicated day of giving. In 2024, the program engaged over 327 San Diego County nonprofits, raising more than $1.2 million from thousands of donors. Participating organizations benefited from tailored training in fundraising, marketing, and donor engagement, resulting in improved capacity and leadership skills. The campaign also generated significant media impressions, expanding visibility for nonprofits countywide. Through collaborative learning and shared storytelling, San Diego Gives strengthened community connections and inspired sustained philanthropic support beyond the campaign itself.
