Joint labor-management activities by an area and industry-wide committee designed to improve labor-management relationships, job security, and competitiveness, productivity, organizational effectiveness, and economic development.

Provided safety training for 750+ individuals for osha 10 classes and osha eccs refresher courses which are 7.5 hour courses. A qualified osha trainer, holds 10 eccs 7-hour refresher classes and two full osha 10 classes each year - having one each month. Classes are paid through the dakota jatc for osha classes they hold only for union electricians. Good-standing union members can also be reimbursed $59 each for the online careersafeonline.com osha 10 class.
NDCC provides appreciation lunches to all staff and contractors during plant outages. NDCC board members work with plant management to schedule the event. On the day of the event, NDCC staff, board members, and volunteers gather at the plant to prepare and serve the meal. Meals usually include grill hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, cookies, soda, water and condiments. NDCC hosts 2-3 appreciation lunches a year across North Dakota.
