To provide support, education and outreach opportunities related to the petroleum industry, develop and advance qualifty of life initiatives, and promote and enhance the conservation heritage of north dakota.

Planting for the future: through its planting for the future program, the north dakota petroleum foundation planted more than 165,000 trees for conservation and habitat. This brings the total number of trees planted since 2018 to over half a million trees on our way to reach a goal planting one million trees in north dakota by 2030.
Scholarships to college students who are taking courses related to the oil industry.
