Community programs: the transportation program received a new 5310 nysdot passenger van with wheelchair lift in december. This vehicle had been awarded in 2020, but covid-related production problems led to a significant delay in delivery. The necc transportation program utilized one full time and three per diem drivers to serve 148 clients for 2,870 rides and covering 41,500 miles (more than double 2023). The necc farmers market welcomed more than 8,000 visitors, giving local farmers an outlet to sell their local products.

Early childhood programs: the necc early learning program provided full day care to 39 children from 33 local families through our toddler and preschool classrooms. 607 fresh, homemade meals and snacks were served daily, including breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack, using locally grown and raised food whenever possible.

Family programs: with the increase in our staffing from 2 to 3 fulltime case managers, necc's ned corps program served 160 households with utility assistance, employment applications/searches, family budgeting, eviction prevention services, rental arrears payments, tenants' rights education, and legal service referrals. Our school supply drive summer camp scholarship and adopt-a-family programs distributed more than $27,000 in support to local families. 239 costs were distributed through our annual coat drive.

Food programs: necc's food and supply pantry served 3,799 adults, seniors and children from 963 households. The necc food program distributed groceries for more than 91,000 meals to local residents, including 43,897 meals that were provided via home delivery to seniors, veterans, the disabled, and other home bound residents. The fresh food pantry distributed fresh local vegetables, fruits, milk, and eggs to partner food pantries in pine plains, amenia, and dover plains. This food provided 3,690 meals to 410 local families/household. In july and august, the summer meals program provided nourishing breakfasts and lunches to 139 youths, serving over 2,800 meals.

Community events - services and activities designed to connect resources and people including farmers market, interactive workshops, yoga, tai chi, crafting and dancercise.
