North End Historical Society

The organization has commissioned a sculpture title "noble journey" sculpted by nancy schon. The sculpture honors the sacrifice and struggles of italian immigrants who settled in boston's north end between 1850 and 1920.

The organization will have it's own historical museum. It is essential in fulfilling our mission to help preserve and enhance the history and heritage of the north end in perpetuity. The museum will help tell the 400 -year history of the north end as the cradle of liberty for the u.s.
