North seattle community college foundation promotes, supports, maintains, develops, and extends educational offerings and the pursuit thereof at or in connection with north seattle college.american financial solutions (afs) is a division of north seattle community college foundation, the mission of which is to empower people to improve the quality of their lives through financial education and counseling. We redirect a portion of our proceeds to a fund that provides student scholarships, faculty grants, and other academic programs for north seattle college.

Public educational outreach: the foundation conducted free workshops, seminars, publications, and online courses on consumer debt and personal finance. A total of 1,168 individuals participated in educational programs via online platforms. Financial literacy education: afs provided a comprehensive, free 10-part curriculum covering budgeting, borrowing, investing, banking, and student loan repayment. Courses were available online and in-person, serving adults, young adults, parents, and teachers. Afs also conducts in-person workshops in western washington. These workshops help to build the knowledge skills and behaviors necessary for people to successfully manage their finances. A variety of programs are available for adults, young adults, parents and teachers.
