Mission
The north star historic conservancy was formed to restore maintain and operate the north star house and more than 14 acres of grounds as a cultural gathering center bringing the magic of the arts theater literature history and music to generations of children youth and adults as well as providing a unique environment that nourishes the creative spirit. North star house is listed on the national register of historic places. It has national significance in three areas.

Large grounds project installing new lawn at House entry including underground gopher protection grading of west lawn reseeding. Irrigation installed; outdoor lighting. Pad poured at bottom of terrace steps. These projects created a significantly improved area to host our events. Much of this work was capitalized.
