North Tahoe Arts Inc

The Kids Art Camp program provided by North Tahoe Arts is an art focused camp for kids ages 5-12. A variety of projects are taught with a focus on tactile, natural, recycled and fine art materials. The Kids Art Camp provides five, week-long art camp classes to over 125 children. North Tahoe Arts also provided six full scholarships to disadvantage children in the area who, for financial constraints, could not otherwise attend art camp. This year, North Tahoe Arts also started Family Art Day. Family Art Day is a free art class geared to the entire family. Family Art Day is the first Sunday of every month welcoming kids and adults of all ages to learn a variety of art mediums.

The Exhibits Program is deeply tied to the mission of North Tahoe Arts which is to support the arts in the Tahoe region through exposure, education, and participation. The program serves emerging as well as fully trained experienced artists in the region with opportunities to professionally show their artwork to a wide audience of more than 16,000.

Workshops and Membership Drives OUr workshops bring together a diverse group of experienced artists and instructors who lead a wide range of art classes for our community. These workshops help participants learn brand-new skills or refine existing techniques, empowering artists at every level to grow. In 2024, North Tahoe Arts offered 18 different classes, including Plein Air Painting, Watercolor, Block Printing, and Wire Jewelry, among others. Our members are the backbone of North Tahoe Arts. Membership dues help keep our doors open but, more importantly, our members serve as passionate advocates for the arts. Their support sustains our programs and strengthens our creative community.
