Mission
The NE Community Centers mission is to build and support a thriving and resilient intergenerational community in NE Portland. Guided by our values, the NECC provides physical space and community-repsonsive programs.

The NECC features a year-round indoor warm water pool maintained at a temperature comfortable for children, seniors, and participants with mobility challenges. The NECC offered swim lessons for all ages, following the Red Cross curriculum with the goal of reducing incidents of drowning. During the same period the NECC offered adult lap swim and exercise classes, including water fitness, arthritis exercise, senior exercise and deepwater workout.
The NECC offers a variety of sports, art, dance and enrichment classes for youth. The NECC provided 16 camps covering summer camp, winterbreak camp and spring break camp for 149 youth. The NECC also provided After School Time for 50 during the school year with activities, snacks and engagement. Delivered programs to 779 individual children including swim lessons, after school classes and basketball league.
