NEOEDD's mission is to contribute to a vibrant rural economy by providing consulting, training, financing, referrals and other assistance to businesses, entrepreneurs, local governments and non-profit organizations in Northeast Oregon.

NEOEDD conducted numerous planning activities to complete and implement our 2023-2028 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. Regional priorities in the CEDS are: workforce development, workforce housing, business development and infrastructure.

NEOEDD maintained four loan programs to businesses with seven loans outstanding at the end of the year. NEOEDD also provided staff support services for the Northeast Oregon Business Development loan programs with seven loans outstanding at the end of the year.

Expenses: $96K

NEOEDD provided a variety of services to nonprofits and local governments including grant administration, grant writing and project development. Services were provided to the cities of Richland, Halfway, Joseph, and Friends of the Joseph Branch, Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center among others.
