Dc star grant program - the grants provide support for a structured contractor safety program that includes occupational safety and health research and information and access to an experienced osha consultant to provide monthly consultation and advocacy services to our glazing and painting contractor companies; a skill up training program for estimators and project managers that includes blueprint reading, paint estimating, paint project management, glass project management and leadership and soft skills classes.in addition, they provide a reimbursement of partial contractor costs of nacc certification and glazing employer agmt testing costs to grow the list of nacc certified contractors and the number of glazing employees that take the agmt test.
