ALL OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS - NCIDC receives funding from both government agencies and private foundations to provide services for the betterment of the American Indian community through education assistance, job training, emergency services and health education.
The ncidc contracted with the california employment development department and the department of labor for workforce innovation and opportunity act contracts to provide job training and other employment services in humboldt, del norte, siskiyou, and trinity counties.
The ncidc is funded by acf to provide low income home energy assistance program (liheap)and low income home water assistance program (lihwap)services. The ncidc works with tribes and individuals to meet eligible participants energy and water bill needs throughout california.
