The organization strives to empower individuals impacted by sexual harm and engage communities to end sexual violence. The organization serves the north and northwest suburban communities of cook and mchenry counties in illinois.
Programs

Advocacy - the agency provides a hotline that is available to callers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Services include telephone crisis intervention and in person advocacy at the hospital emergency room, police departments, and court proceedings.
Prevention in schools - various prevention programs are available for children in pre-school to high school. Topics covered include personal safety, conflict resolution, sexual harrassment, risk reduction, dispelling sexual assault myths, and our clothesline project. Community education information and presentations are available to community groups, colleges and agencies. Topics may include rape trauma syndrome, child sexual assualt prevention, date rape drugs, and social myths among others.
