Healthy People and Communities: In Central and Eastern OR, we held a series of 20 well received participatory workshops along with partner organizations, to share resources and encourage dialogue among farm workers. In the Portland Metro area we hosted 2 workshops for our Latino Landscaper Network, providing a space for Spanish speaking landscaping professionals and their families to share their knowledge and questions around sustainable land management, personal protective equipment (PPE), community health issues among other topics. Offered around 500 pieces of educational materials and resources for free to community members at our workshops, outreach sessions and partner events. During 2024, our radio show "Raises Resilientes: Voces del campo" had its first year on air. We had over 30 guests across areas vital to the Latino population, including pesticide awareness, climate health, and community health. Distributed over 150 pieces of educational materials regarding climate awareness during our outreach and workshops. Through our Spanish language programs we partnered with over 30 organizations within our tri-state region. Met with Oregon Governor Tina Kotek regarding access to clean drinking water for residents of Umatilla and Morrow counties. More than 650 of Spanish speaking community members learned about self-advocacy for pesticide exposure at a NCAP event. 100 landscaping community members responded to our surveys to better understand their needs within the Portland metropolitan area. Over 930 people from our target audience were reached by our bilingual programs. Our radio show aired 44 times during 2024. Over 18 Guatemalan families participated in our events.

Healthy Wildlife and Water: Engaged nursery growers, community members, and school staff through projects that examined the effects of pesticides on ecosystems and human health, inspiring action and awareness. Provided expert pest and weed management consultations, empowering community members with scientifically grounded information to make informed, sustainable choices. Delivered impactful presentations addressing critical environmental and human health issues, fostering a deeper understanding and commitment to change within the community. Provided interview for local Washington newspaper focused on alternatives to glyphosate pesticides. Collaborated with diverse coalitions to amplify our advocacy efforts, contributing to multiple policy recommendations promoting safer and more sustainable practices. 1554 plus individuals participated in education projects exploring the impact of pesticides on ecosystems and human health with 4 new resources created and distributed. 16 community members benefited from personalized consultation services. Approximately 50 Oregon employees atttended our presentation for the Earthshare Virtual Health Lunch and Learn. 130,000 to 140,000 individuals potentially engaged with our interview on glyphosate alternatives through printed editions of The Spokesman-Review. 7 coalition advocacy letters were signed, supporting initiatives for healthier, safer policies.
