Northwood hills hoas primary exempt purpose is to better the quality of life of member and non-member residents of northwood hills.

Beautification - northwood hills hoa contributes in a highly visible and meaningful way to the beautification of the far north dallas area. The hoa is an active member of dallas mowmentums adopt-a-right-of-way program providing ongoing landscape enhancement and maintenance to portions of the commen medians in high-visibility locations along major north/south and east/west thoroughfares in far north dallas. Nhha also promotes compliance with monthly bulk trash regulations through signage and email and newsletter reminders.

Community awareness and events - northwood hills hoa sends quarterly newsletters to over 1200 households covering topics of importance to our residents, maintains an e-mail member list for routine notifications to keep members aware of urgent/important security and other issues, and maintains a website (www.northwoodhills.org). Nhha is also a member of the north dallas neighborhood alliance, which is an organization of dallas neighborhood associations that promotes issues important to dallas residents, property owners, and schools. Nhha has sponsored many area events attended by both member and non-member residents. The annual meeting of the membership provides a comprehensive recap of the associations activities to its residents. Nhha facilitates the neighborhoods annual independence day parade, which brings together hundreds of attendees of all ages to celebrate. Nhha also hosts a paper shredding and electronics recycling event and other seasonal events.

Other program services include various expenses related to membership including curb address painting, fulfillment supplies, and welcome packages. It also includes special projects we periodically undertake, including mosquito awareness and prevention, paper shredding opportunities, good neighbor day endeavors, camera upgrades, and website improvements.
