Mission
The northwood technical college foundation provides support to promote, develop, and expand quality education and services of northwood tech and to encourage the success and achievement of northwood tech students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Other student supportthe foundation provides gas and grocery cards of $25 each for students who wouldn't otherwise have the funds to drive to class or purchase groceries; we also cover ged fees, nutrition baskets, meal vouchers, and a pantry for food, school supplies, and basic household goods on 3 of our 4 main campuses. The total provided for these items in fy25 was $62,587
Institutional support$53,273 was paid to the college from grants to support program equipment, as well as recruitment and retention activities.
Capital campaignthe second year of the capital campaign to support the medical laboratory education center, which houses the medical laboratory technician program, resulted in a grant for $23,000 paid to the college for related expenses.
Emergency grantsstudents in need of emergency support received $13,137 in grants to remove financial barriers.
Staff developmentstaff have the opportunity to apply for professional development grants each fall. Last year, the foundation provided $3,091 to cover expenses related to staff training.
