Mission
The nuclear power labor management cooperation committee trust (trust) exists to assist employers and unions in solving problems of mutual concern as provided for by section 302(c)(9) of the taft-hartley act, 29 usc, section 186(c)(9) for any and all purposes set forth in section 6(b) of the labor-management cooperation act of 1978, including the encouragement and support of the construction and operation of nuclear power facilities. The trust's joint labor management activities are designed to improve labor-management relations, job security, competitiveness, productivity, organizational effectiveness, and economic development in the construction industry and in particular in the nuclear power construction industry.
