NWEC leads a broad alliance advancing affordable, equitable clean energy. We envision a carbon-free system providing reliable energy, restoring natural resources, protecting salmon, supporting communities, and prioritizing decarbonization, equity, and renewable solutions.

OUTREACH: The Coalition convenes its members and the wider community to engage in dialogue on clean energy and climate policy developments affecting individual Northwest states and the region as a whole, including information on energy efficiency, renewable energy, consumer/low-income issues, decarbonization of the energy sector, and protection of fish and wildlife imperiled by the power system. This is done through state caucus meetings, full member meetings, webinars, and conferences.

COMMUNICATIONS: The organization issues regular communications via alerts, press releases, fact sheets and newsletters. These communications present the latest clean energy and climate policy developments affecting individual Northwest states and the region as a whole, including information on energy efficiency, renewable energy, consumer/low-income issues, and protection of fish and wildlife imperiled by the power system. More in-depth analyses are presented via white papers and special publications.
