To create a united enviroment and relationship among people of hispanic heritage in the correction department and the community, by participating in educational, cultural and community activities. To promote and encourage the social welfare of all its members by creating, developing, promoting and supporting programs designed to raise the level of professionalism and job advancement of its members, along with render support to other benevolent and charitable organizations.
